Since then, Let’s Do It! has spread this model—one country in one day—around the world. To date, nearly 120 countries and 20 million people have joined us to clean up illegal waste.

On September 19, 2020, World Cleanup Day, people in 150 countries will stand up against the global trash problem and clean up waste, making it the biggest positive civic action the world has seen. Imagine a powerful “green wave” starting in New Zealand and ending in Hawaii with hundreds of millions of people taking positive action together on the very same day.

The clean-up exercise that took place on Saturday, 17th September 2022 was to mark World Cleanup Day which was simultaneously observed in about 164 countries. The exercise brought together thousands of Ghanaians youth and other volunteers from the La Dadekotopon township to collect tons of waste from the environment.

The world clean up day 2022 is regarded to be very important program for Nkyirimma organization. We therefore seek the need to join hand with the world, to clean alongside the coastal areas from laboma to labadi Beach resort. Thank you, ‘let’s do it Ghana’ for making this activity come into light.
