Mallam Market Project #1

Distance from Mallam market –Dansoman beach; 7.6km (25minutes), fast route due to traffic conditions.

A river behind Mallam market flows to join the sea at a distance of 7.6km.This River is improperly manage by the inhabitants and the market community as a whole. Dumping of spoil remains of the market product such as routed vegetables, dead poultry remains, expired foods and even a place of human waste. Improper cattle grazing along the river banks has also been a major challenge. This activities has resulted in extinction of aquatic creatures in the river as well as the ocean. A report from my joy online news indicate that, there have been a wash ashore of dead fishes at Ghana’s beaches, https://www.myjoyonline.com/dead-fishes-washed-ashore-be-on-guard-tma-cautions-fishing-communities/

Upcoming Project

Kantamanto
Market

The Kantamanto Market in Ghana’s capital, Accra, is West Africa’s hub for used apparel from the West. Here, investors rapidly type via piles of garments every day so as to grasp the exceptional bargain. But often, there are greater rags than riches. “We did not get any correct apparel at all,” a dealer instructed DW after this sort of hurried routine. Recently, the deliveries from the West have an increasing number of been centered on so-referred to as rapid-style gadgets. These garments are typically put on after only some weeks. To a few investors, it is in reality an imposition to sift via them. “The items which can be coming now are sincerely affecting our business,” some other dealer said, stressing that such cheap gadgets can not be resold withinside the neighborhood market.
